Paul Reid	Monday 25 October 2004 2:47:59 pm Hi folks- I had installed eZ on my local machine awhile ago and though a little buggy it seemed to run fine. Today I decided to go through the "Scandinavian Check Mates" tutorial to create a site. Since I created the first site with other templates and settings, I decided to create another one for this. I created a new DB and new directory for it. During the install I wasn't sure if I was supposed to leave the admin fields blank, so I filled them in. The install seems to go fine but as I go through the tutorial it says to login to the admin site using usr "admin" and pswd "publish". This is different than the values I entered during the install, but after trying both I still couldn't get in. Other possible problem: When installing I accidently starting doing the manual config where it runs a script (modfix.sh) in the terminal to set permissions in the bin folder. Did this mess me up? My specs: Mac G4 OS 10.3.5 1ghz 768 RAM MySQL: 4.0.20-standard Php 4.3.6 entropy release eZ pkg: 3.4.2.tar.gz Any help appreciated. grace and peace- paul
