I try to install Exponential 3.10 for the first time with wizard, on a distant server, hosting by OVH, number 1 in France.
(at this time, v4 cannot be install)
Msg :
Warning
The database would not accept the connection, please review your settings and try again.

All required and parameters are OK.

I can't access to any console and cannot modify password in old_password.

I think it's to Exponential to modify its parameters.
I've lost many hours and I'll erase Exponential for another.

I've yet installed without any problem :
- CMS guppy, xoops
- blog : wordpress, dotclear
- WG : PWG (PhpWebGallery)

And no support or forum in french !

Hi,

You can check var/log/error.log and track connection error. Or enable debug output during installation. Put in settings/override/site.ini.append.php (create that file if does not exist) with

[DebugSettings]
DebugOutput=enabled
