so the install script told me to chmod a handfull of directories which wasn't a big deal untill I came to settings/siteaccess/admin design

This directory doesn't exist! I DO have settings.siteaccess/admin, but not admin design. I created a directory called admin design and set the proper chmod, but it's not taking for whatever reason..what gives?

Installing on a webhost (www.sunwave.com) they're linux/unix. No shell access

Hi Tony,

Make this steps:
1. Download latest Exponential package from ez.no
2. Upack all files on local hard drive
3. Put all Exponential files in to your www account via FTP
4. Change chmod via FTP or ask administrator for help.
5. Access Exponential setup wizard via web browser.

yeah, I did all that. I'm still waiting for the administrator to chmod the tmp directory but I was able to chmod all the other ones.

My problem is that when I unpacked Exponential, the directory structure settings/siteaccess/admin design wasn't there

Tony,

You're actually looking at two directories:

1) settings/siteaccess/admin
2) design
