Having done some reading I see that the directive should be part of a 'container'.

My Apache knowledge is not enough for me to get through this problem without a litle help. What is the full syntax for this directives container according to my software versions stated below? When I try apache won't start.

I am currently installing on Windows but will later install on a host on which I don't have access to httpd.conf so I presume that this directive should go in the .htaccess file; is this correct; am I talking sense?

(Also why is it needed if Apache docs state that it is new to Apache 2.0.30?)

--------------------------
Windows 2000
Apache 1.3.33
PHP 4.3.9
Exponential 3.4.4
--------------------------

Mnay thanks in advance,

Andy

Hi,
I know that AcceptPathInfo is only for Apache 2.
For Apache 1 simply skip it.
