Fatal error: Call to a member function remove() on a non-object in /usr/local/home/httpd/vhtdocs/<sitename>/cronjobs/workflow.php on line 86 Please help..

I successfully upgraded the system from 3.6.1 to 4.0.1, but when the cronjob is running I am getting the following error on command line.

Fatal error: Call to a member function remove() on a non-object in /usr/local/home/httpd/vhtdocs/<sitename>/cronjobs/workflow.php on line 86

Please help..
