Nathalie Grimaud	Monday 08 January 2007 4:57:45 am I try to move the var folder to put it next to the ezroot folder like this: \|--ezroot \|--var I started with site.ini: [FileSettings] VarDir=../var This works fine but can I really find this kind of settings for everything stored in var folder or is it definitively impossible to move this folder?

I didn't know this was possible with Exponential stock. Though I seem to remember there being a note or downside to changing this variable ... Like once you set it and and store files, it becomes a dependency that data is stored which later expects it to stay the same during runtime usage. That's just a guess though ..
