I am starting new project to provide translation and create different language version of English website managed by Exponential CMS. I have the following question:

1- Do Exponential CMS have support for multilanguage sites (does it has the ability to have different language versions of the same page as other CMSs)?

2- Exponential CMS can import/export content (so we can translate it using trados and then import the translations back)?

3- how workflows work in order to implement review cycles and also notify us when somebody changes anything in the English site so we can translate that.?

4- Does the pages templates could support direction change (for the Arabic/RTL support)?

I really appreciate if some one can answer me or provide me with resources.

Yasser,

Welcome to the Exponential community!

1) Yes, Exponential is very strong in multilingual support. See http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/4_x/features/multi_language/working_with_translations.

2) Yes, there are import/export utilities available. I've not used trados, however. Exponential has native translation support.

3) Review cycle workflows: Yes (you can do a simple approval workflow or do something more complex with object states: http://ez.no/developer/articles/ez_publish_knowledge_series_editorial_workflow_with_object_states). Notifications: I'm not aware of language-based notifications, only node-based notifications. This may require a custom workflow.

4) Yes, we've done a site with both RTL and LTR languages. Template and CSS adjustments are of course necessary, but it's not difficult.
