Problem with the language switcher in 4.1

Hi,

The new language switcher sounds a lot more easy to use.

But I have one problem to use it with a "webin" installation. My main language is "french" and whenever I click on one of the other languages available (english, german and italian) I keep staying on the main language ("french" - associated to the ezwebin_site_user).

I have created the corresponding sites (for the extra languages), and they are correctly mapped to the TranslationSA, in the override site.ini .

If I try to manually enter the URL of the translated site access (for example mysite-en.com for the "english" version), it does work and show me the translated version of the node. From here if I click to any other languages (for example "german"), it takes me to the main site access (mysite.com - french, instead of mysite-de.com).

I have a second problem, and I don't know if it is related to the first problem.

Whenever I try to edit a french page, using the ez webtool bar, if I click on the "Translate" button, it does not propose me to which language I want to translate to, it provides me with a translation form "from French to French". I am able create translations through the admin UI.

Any idea which setting I should look at to fix these problems ?

Thank you for your help,
Hakim

Hi,

I also made the test with an ezflow website, and I get the same problem I cannot get the Langage swticher to work.

I am just creating a site with :
- default language : french
- other language : english, german and italian
- virtual host mode

Does anyone get to have similar settings to work ?

Thanks,
Hakim

I think you have to edit the Look and Feel object and enter the correct url-s for your siteaccesses. In the admin interface you can find it under Design - Look and Feel.

I have the same problem, perhaps it has something to do with fastcgi setup?
