Hi All,

Is it possible to move a set of users from one eZ install to another? Essentially we have a set of users on one system which we want to migrate to another for use in an application - is is possible to move these using vanilla/built in eZ features such as packages without causing issue?

How will eZ handle potential dupes? will it skip or warn if it thinks there are duplicates?

Many thanks

Tony

We have moved user with the package system without problems. If I don't remember wrong the system warns of possible duplicate users, classes, etc...

Anyway, package system is a little buggy (specially moving large number of objects) so best is to have a backup of the db before importing the users.
