I haven't tried it, but you should be able to create personal blog the same way. I think you need to add some check to make sure that such personal objects are not created if they already exist as the onpublish function is called each time the user is publish, for example if you make and publish some changes in the user data. Have a look here:

This explains how to create a personal folder for each user. I haven't tried it, but you should be able to create personal blog the same way. I think you need to add some check to make sure that such personal objects are not created if they already exist as the onpublish function is called each time the user is publish, for example if you make and publish some changes in the user data.
