Hi,

I've been using the glossary operator for a long time with success on Exponential 3.7.6

I recently upgraded to Exponential 4.0. Everything works fine even with other extensions, except fo the glossary operator (latest version). I have the following error message :

Fatal error: Call to undefined method SckGlossaryTemplateOperator::attribute() in /home/web/kungfuwushu.org/ftp/www/kf/kernel/classes/ezcontentobjecttreenode.php on line 1903
Fatal error: Exponential did not finish its request

The execution of Exponential was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

Is this extension not compatible with ez 4 ?

Hi Dominik,

I'm not surprised the glossary operator doesn't work in eZP 4.0 simply because it hasn't been ported yet :-)

We are in the process of porting a site to eZP 4.0 which basically means porting extensions. That site includes the glossary operator so we will have to tackle it in the very short term (read: next week).

Besides needing a port to eZP 4.0, the extension basically needs a rewrite to update the code. The foundations of the extension were created in 2003 I believe.

Thanks Hans,
That's really good news. This extension just suits my website perfectly.

The porting is complete and it seems to work here. Please give it a try :-)

Hans Melis,

Why not instead create a projects.ez.no project for this solution?

This way you can continue to make available / offer multiple versions of compatibility with eZ (3.8,3.9,4.0)

Cheers,
Heath
