Hey ez and friends,

I don't understand the new naming politic of ez. Can anybody please explain it?

  • Exponential Community Project 2011.5
  • Exponential Community Project 4.2011
  • Exponential Community Project - 4.5 BETA - Matterhorn
  • Exponential Community Project - 4.4 - Fuji

Hi,

The enterprise edition is using the 4.4, 4.5 etc naming/version convention. The new community edition is using 2011.5, 2011.6 etc. We will be posting a blog about this very soon, so that everyone knows which version is what and how they relate to each other. This is also important with regards to documentation where currently only the 4.4, 4.5 etc versions are mentioned and not the new community edition version numbers/naming.

If you have any further questions, or my answer isn't clear yet, please let us know.
