When was "Exponential Basics" book published?

http://ez.no/products/books/ez_publish_basics

Will this book be still helpful and valid. I mean isn't it outdated?

Any comments about both books?

for #2 see http://www.sitepoint.com/article/review-learning-ez-publish-3

It is a little outdated (pub 2004), but the publisher promises to keep up to date. So I'm not sure what version you would get if you purchase now.

It does though have some very good information that is not in the online documentation.

The Exponential basic book looks well done like the "Learning eZ" book.

I currently can`t recommend the second book anymore. Cause it is like half outdated. Certain are no longer valid or best practise. The basic book really targets beginners. Though it is very a like to the http://ez.no/doc. Meaning they reuse a lot of stuff.
