From before I have the previous book "Learning Exponential 3".
Is it then worth buying also the new book "Exponential basics"?

Is it possible to compare and diff the two books contens, how they overlap and complement each other?

Looks like both are targeted more at developers and administrators, while I more wished one targeted for the Exponential users.

I think Exponential basics (EPB) is worth buying even if you have the Learning Exponential 3 (LEP3) book. They cover many of the same topics, but EPB is very easy to use if you have a specific problem. It's easier to read and it is faster to look up on problems.

I was so pleased with the book that I will give it to some of my most eager customers.

I think LEP3 is stronger on system architecture, deploying and planning for larger sites. It also covers development of extensions. This is not so good covered in EPB.
