When I load the same url again the site works fine, and all the subsequent browsing on the site works fine. This happens on every browser I've tried (IE, Firebird). It's only the first page load that fails. I'm running Exponential version 3.1-1 Revision: 2703 on Apache web server.

Why don't you upgrade to ezp 3.2 or 3.3

Probably you will get a better support from the comunity
