I need some help, today I upgraded a site from 3.3.3 to 3.8.4 unsuccessfully. The initial problem I can see is that the anonymous user is deleted, the admin user group is also deleted. I repeated but this time stopped at 3.6.0 and it appears fine. There were database inconsistencies which I repaired but upon running the 3.8.0 updatemultilingual.php update script the same thing happened.

Here is the output from the script.

Have you backed up your database? If not, press Ctrl-C and back up your data!
The default language for your siteaccess is 'eng-US' and will be used as the initial language for all your objects.
The script will use the following database settings:
  user: <mysite>, password: <***>, server: <localhost>, socket: <>, name: <mysite>, charset: <iso-8859-1>
You have 345 draft(s). These drafts will be removed.
You have now 10 seconds to break this script (press Ctrl-C) if the settings are incorrect.
Step 1/6: Removing the drafts:
Processed: 100 of 345
Processed: 200 of 345
Processed: 300 of 345
Processed: 345 of 345
Step 2/6: Identifying languages used on the site:
  language: eng-US (id 2)
Step 3/6: Fixing the ezcontentclass table.
Step 4/6: Fixing the ezcontentobject_name table.
Step 5/6: Fixing content object versions and attributes. Please be patient, this might take a while...
  done
Step 6/6: Fixing content objects. Please be patient, this might take a while...
  done
Done.

Help in resolving this would be very appreciated as I am lost for ideas.
