What's the deal with the like feature on share.ez.no?
I don't see anybody using it much, and there's no other purpose for it than clicking the "Like it" button. Where's the top rated content that this like feature generates?
Maybe if we integrate this with Facebook likes (generate a like on FB when the like button is clicked), and add a box with top rated posts somewhere on the site, maybe people would actually start using it...

Hi Marko, good remark,
Indeed, for the time being the 'Like it!' feature (and by extension the star-rating on tutorials and blog posts), are not further leveraged than simply appreciating a user's contribution. In a near-future, this will be used to build members' karma. Not only rating (quality) will be encompassed, but also how much a member is contributing (volume), how often, etc. A bit like at http://stackoverflow.com .
Cheers !

Thanks Scott, and welcome aboard the eZ Community !
I "liked" your remarks, thanks for the feedback !
About the error you get on older posts : could you share the link of these please ?
Good point about the first "like" button in the thread, this needs to be redesigned then, form an ergonomics point of view.
The "unlike" feature is probably not going to be implemented, after having gone through the state of the art in terms of reputation design. One example : http://developer.yahoo.com/ypatterns/social/objects/feedback/votetopromote.html
Open to feedback,Cheers,

Here's an example topic where "like it" errors on the older posts:
