I use eZFind 2.0 and eZ 4.1.3. If I hide an object the search index was not updated. I can find these object in the frontend. But if I publish these object after hide without any changes, I can not find these object in frontend. The publication of the object changed the hidden status in the search engine. Can I configure that eZ Find triggers content/hide automatically (without publish the object). Or must I write my own workflow for the new trigger content/hide?

You can use eZ FInd 2.1, which implements the triggers defined in eZ P4.1

It is not complete though, as it re-indexes the current object only, not its children

Paul is right, this is fixed with combination of Exponential 4.1.x and ezFind 2.1
