I just upgraded from a very early version of EZP to EZP4.2.0 which uses ezfind and solr. I can search in the solr management page, but searches in EZP produce no results.

I followed the procedures in the "eZ Find Extension Documentation" document as far as possible. That is, the elevate table has been created, solr is started and verified as running, ezfind is enabled in the override site.ini. I have not set up delayed indexing (yet) but I've run the ezfindexcontent and ezfoptimizeindex cronjobs and I've run the updatesearchindexsolr.php script. I've not done any customisation.

Is there anything I've missed?

Duh! Pebkac problem. I could have sworn that I'd run the 'updatesearchindexsolr.php' script, but when I ran it, everything started working.

However, it is not clear if this script should be run on a regular basis. Can someone please advise me?

Cheers,

Cliff
