The removal of default language should not be allowed. Otherwise by mistake if someone removes it -- all the content of the website is also removed !!!

I have just now made such a terrible mistake. Maybe one has to use that facility with care.

Now the main question arises how to port only the classes and class groups to a new empty kernel database?

I agree, the remove translations is a pretty destructive function.

Currently there is no simple way to port classes from one installation to another. This is planned functionality for a future release. I think this will be part of the 3.2 release, as it's pretty high up on the most wanted features list.
