I will explain my idea,

I want to show the poll in homepage , as a block.when visitor submit the poll , poll results will be shown in the same block without going to anyother page like contentnfo/poll.tpl.

For that I will include a custom template in same (block/poll.tpl )that fetch poll result when submission take place .So that page will be same .No need to go to result page.

Is it wrong or can i go ahead with this idea?

Anyone please give me a suggestion. Thanks in advance Romeo

Hi Romeo,

I had the same thought as someone else on IRC suggested; use Ajax via ezjscore. Don't ask me for development details though, no exprt ;) Maybe someone else can chime in?

Hi Romeo,

You probably read this already, but just in case you haven't, see http://share.ez.no/articles/ez-publish/ezjscore-ez-publish-javascript-and-ajax-framework/(language)/eng-GB. Maybe you can find some info in there.
