Because Exponential and Weblog don't make use of the standard blockquote tag in quoting reference material that is a crucial part of blogging, I simply implemented this tag myself using the procedures outlined in http://www.ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/customization/components/datatypes/ezxmltext/custom_tags and now I get the necessary tag to appear when I quote something in a blog.

There is a problem with syndication, however. When I view the RSS XML output for my site all the blockquote tags, and all the text within them, doesn't show up at all. Is this a bug in Exponential or am I missing a step for customizing my RSS output to include my customized tag?
