PubDate issue when importing a 'date' RSS feed as an event

We have an external calendar application. It provides an RSS Out feed. The PubDate corresponds to the real date of the event. When I import it via an RSS, into eZ, the PubDate value changes to the date of import so if I'm importing one hundred dates that each have a different date, the end result in the Event Calendar is that all the dates have today's date.
Any workaround?
Thanks

Doing this in 3.10.0

Hi

Did you configure the RSS import properly? After you've chosen the class to use for RSS import and clicked the "Set" button, you will be presented a bunch of select boxes to map content attributes ("published" and "modified" are 2 of them) to fields in the RSS feed. If you want your RSS objects to have their published dates to equal the published date in the feed, then choose Item - PubDate from the "published" select box. If this does not work as intended, then please report it in our issue tracker at http://issues.ez.no
