User2 and user1 add comments as child objects to the request. I need user1 and user2 to be able to view the request and comments but not allow any other users to view them. How do I allow a user to view an object if they are the owner of the parent object?

Here is what I have.

The user1 creates a request object.
User2 and user1 add comments as child objects to the request.

I need user1 and user2 to be able to view the request and comments but not allow any other users to view them.

Any ideas on have to accomplish this would be great.
