hi,

Is it possible to set up a website with 4-5 members, each having one specific page. If yes how the members will self edit their specific pages.

Please Help,

Thanks in advance.

cheers

I think you would need to either create a section for each of them (pretty easy with so few members) and give them edit privileges for content only in their section. This would require each to have their own role with those limits.

Alternately, you could restrict access to editing by subtree, so that they would have access only to one page and its subpags. This can also be done by customizing the content module policies in the roles.

The members need to each have a different role applied to them with regards to editing, but they could all have the same role for all the other policies. (multiple roles can be assigned to one user/group)

Both would work about the same for your situation.

Hi Mark,

Would it be possible for you to explain what you have said with some kind of example showing all the roles and policies. Please

Cheers.
