Fetching Content Objects on Custom Attributes

Can someone explain to me how to use fetch in conjunction with attributes that are specific to a custom content object I have created? For instance, I have created a Story class which is much like an Article but has a field to capture the owner and the creation date. I want to fecth the 4 most recently created articles by a particular owner that have been published. I see that I have access to the main content attributes in the database through the fetch command but I need to filter on these other attributes that are part of my custom content class. Can I even do this with ezp? I am currently using ezp 3.0 but I would not be opposed to upgrading to 3.2 if it provides this sort of functionality. Thanks, in advance for any help or links anyone can provide.

Thanks,

Hi Paul,

The following documentation page describes how you can filter results based on attribute values:

http://www.ez.no/developer/ez_publish_3/documentation/development/libraries/ez_template/operators/data_fetch

Look near the end of the page. Good luck !
