On one of our sites we've just had the following error:

Failed to steal lock for file var/vardir/cache/content/siteaccess/2-f4fbbcc3e88c36b92d3c37477f9e7a9b.cache from PID 24337

How do I handle that and what could be the problem?

Thanks!

Hi Piotrek

The var directory isn't on an NFS or network mounted partition is it?

Could be related to http://issues.ez.no/IssueView.php?Id=12764&activeItem=36

Cheers

I have the same problem on some of my sites, when running runcronjobs.php on eZ 4.0. Didn't find the cause yet.
