The site I am working on has a member section and a general public section. I inadvertantly deleted the 'anonymous user' from the anonymous user group. Now I may not view the public pages without logging in as either an administrator or a member (a user group created to give members read access in the members section as well as public pages). I recreated the anonymous user in the admin. However, this did not produce the desired result. I suspect I will have to edit the 'site.ini.append.php' file in some way, but not sure where to start. Obviously I want anyone visiting the site to view the public pages. If anyone has a solution/suggestion I would be most grateful to hear it.

Hi Lukasz,

Is there any scenario where deleting the Anonymous user is a good thing? Shouldn't a fix be implemented to make sure that the anonymous user can not be deleted?

Sincerely,

Eirik Alfstad Johansen
