Forums / Developer / 3.8.0: editing object -> need to select language

Hi!
I've recently upgraded a lot of sites to version 3.8.0 of Exponential. All of the sites use only Swedish. In the admin interface when I click on the pencil-icon (editing an object) I first have to choose swedish in a list before continuing to edit the object.
In this list only Swedish is shown. This extra step is a bit unneccessary. And I'm a worried about what our customers would think about this new feature. Is there a way to walk around this and to go directly to the edit view - like it was before (3.7.6 and earlier)?
Don't missunderstand me - I like the multi-language support in 3.8.0 and our customers who uses more than just one language on their web pages will be very pleased. It's just that a lot of sites are in only one language - and those sites have no use for this, as far as I can see...
I need to know if I can do anything about this problem.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Did you follow all upgrade steps? If you have only one language then Exponential should skip that part.
Could you paste here your regional settings?

Hi!First of all thank you for your help.
My configuration in site.ini for the site with one language has only swe-SE in RegionalSettings. I also followed all the steps in the upgrade.
Anyway the problem is now solved.
The problem was: I used the same database for a site with 3 languages as I did for the site with one language.
When there is content objects in the database of more than one language the admin interface will always show this extra step...
I had to copy the database and I now use two different databases. In one of the databases I deleted all content objects belonging to the multi-lingual site. Then I deleted the two extra languages from the admin interface (Setup/Languages).
The extra step is now gone in the admin interface for the site with one language! Good!

hi, I had the same problem and I solved putting this line in the form:
<input type="hidden" name="ContentObjectLanguageCode" value="{ezini('RegionalSettings', 'Locale')}" />
