I used the setup wizard and got the following error from user side

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'ezuser' in /xxxxxx/index.php on line 487
Fatal error: Exponential did not finish it's request

and this from admin
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class ezpersistentobject:ezusersetting in /xxxx/kernel/classes/datatypes/ezuser/ezusersetting.php on line 45
Fatal error: Exponential did not finish it's request

I hope this helps, can't look into it more... gotta go to a summer camp ;-)

This was solved by clearing php_accelerator cache..
