The project objective was to implement a B2C bookshop with extremely comprehensive search and filter functions. The studibooks.de B2C shop uses the silver.basic e-commerce solution which is based on the ECMS eZ Publish. Orders are directly passed on to Navision. The import of product data from numerous catalogues with extensive bibliographic contents is a special feature. This information is complemented by additional data from Navision und updated in the online shop every night.

The handling of pre-announced books and sequels was implemented especially for the publishing industry.

The shop offers a large variety of filter functions and sorting options through the eZ Find search engine, enabling users to filter result lists subsequently by publishing company, category, year of publication, author, number of pages and price margin.

An attractive and high-capacity B2C shop using the book trade’s industry standards and offering the complete currently available assortment of German books as well as additional foreign topical publications to customers was set up in no time.
