In this post I will quick explain why you should use this extension ( the extension still needs a lot of work ).

Develop a gaming site can be difficult for game developers, especially if the site has some advanced features for users such as a scoring / badges system, ranking or even represent the relationship between users. These features can be found on sites like Kongregate, Newgrounds and are available to any registered user on those sites. 

The focus of dappsocial extension is turn Exponential into a social gaming platform, initially focusing on Unity, being a bit more specialized than other existing open source options such as BuddyPress or Drupal Commons. It is still in alpha version. In the future more players will be supported, such as Shiva3d, Panda3D and Flash.

In my next post I will show how to install this extension on an existing Exponential installation with eZ flow, remember, the extension is on its initial development stage.
